This year’s Inspiring Women in Construction and Engineering Awards will recognise the individuals and teams making outstanding contributions to gender diversity within their industry.
Held at the Royal Lancaster Hotel on 16 September 2025, this is a perfect evening to celebrate the fantastic people within your organisation
The awards recognise individuals, teams, companies and initiatives that have helped contribute to making a construction or engineering firm and the industry a better place to work. This represents a unique opportunity for women within the civil engineering, geotechnical engineering and construction sectors to gain recognition at a national level and have their achievements celebrated across Construction News, Ground Engineering and New Civil Engineer.

Shortlisted entries for the 2025 awards are invited to an exclusive learning and development workshop on Thursday 03 July, offering networking and a unique opportunity to discuss challenges and career development.
In addition to winning a trophy, the winners will receive mentoring support through the programme to further boost their careers.

Judging
Inspiring Women in Construction & Engineering Awards has a rigorous judging process to decide our winners. Applications will be considered by a panel of judges including representatives from major industry figures across the Construction News, Ground Engineering and New Civil Engineer sectors.
Each stage is designed to provide a fair and transparent process.
Stage 1: Online Judging – once the entry phase closes, the judges will review online and score each submission to determine the shortlist.
Stage 2: Live Presentations – once the shortlist is announced, all finalists will be invited to give a presentation to our judging panel. This will either take place virtually or in person. In person interviews and presentations will take place from 09 to 16 July 2025 at our central London office:
