Linda York
Associate Director – People & Culture
RSK Environment

With over two decades of experience in administration, training, operational support and HR, Linda currently works as the Lead for People & Culture in Geosciences at RSK having evolved through various roles built on commitment, resilience, and hands-on learning. A champion for employee wellbeing, inclusion and personal development, focusing on building a positive, values driven culture where people feel supported, heard and able to thrive. A strong advocate for fairness, integrity, and community, Linda has dedicated much of her life to youth development, holding roles such as Guide Leader, Youth Elder, and Police Cadet Leader. Her 10 years as a Special Sergeant in the police force further reflects a values-driven approach to leadership, with a deep focus on policy, procedure, and doing what’s right. Passionate about people and their stories, Linda thrives on listening, mentoring, and learning from others—especially young people, whose energy and perspectives continue to inspire and challenge. This dedication to service and community is complemented by a lively personal life: from caring for her alpacas, a horse, and two cats, to participating in drag racing with a love for American Muscle and Mopar cars. Linda is also an active member of her local church and village community, and can often be found enjoying a Guinness at the local pub—or attempting some gardening. Bringing a unique blend of lived experience, empathy, and structured thinking, Linda is proud to contribute to this year’s awards as a panel judge, celebrating excellence and recognising those who make a difference.
