Judges

Inspiring Women in Construction & Engineering Awards has a rigorous judging process to decide our winners. Applications will be considered by a panel of judges including representatives from major industry figures across the Construction News, Ground Engineering and New Civil Engineer sectors.

Judges are selected from major contractors, consultants and industry figures who contribute valuable time and effort to work through entries, reviewing each against strict criteria and attributing scores aimed at rewarding and recognising the very best.

Want to get in front of the judges? Enter today and showcase your success.

Judging process

The Entry Process

Each stage is designed to provide a fair and transparent process, each category is judged by an individual panel of industry leaders who will judge each category for both stages.

Entering the Inspiring Women in Construction and Engineering Awards is your chance to showcase your achievements to the industry’s most respected clients and leaders. To give your submission the best chance of success, we strongly encourage entrants to back up every statement with clear evidence – whether that’s data, testimonials, measurable outcomes, or examples of innovation in action.

The more criteria you can evidence, the stronger your entry will be. Every entry is carefully reviewed and scored against the published criteria by our independent judging panel to create the shortlist. Shortlisted entrants will then be invited to face-to-face judging, where you’ll have the opportunity to expand on your written submission, bring your story to life, and demonstrate your passion and commitment to the sector.

This rigorous process ensures that every winner is selected fairly, transparently, and for the true impact of their work.

Judging presenations/ interviews will take place virtually or in person depending on your catergory  from 13 to 17 July 2026. In person judged catergories will be hosted at our central London office:

emap Publishing Ltd
Harmsworth House
13-15 Bouverie Street
London
EC4Y 8DP

Put your best foot forward this year and submit your entry today and you could make it through to this exclusive judging phase.
